Welcome to St. Raphael School! After completing our second successful school year, we are eager to open the 2008-2009 school year with Kindergarten, First, Second and Third grades. New additions to our teaching staff include Lorene Moutanabbih and Debbie Zech. Thank you for choosing St. Raphael School!
We look forward to continuing our educational journey and pray that God will guide our efforts as we work to create a Christian environment in our school. May we always remember He is the reason we are here!
Here’s to another great year

Saint Raphael’s Catholic School, an integral component of the parish, works in conjunction with parents to instill in our children the teachings of Jesus Christ. We pride ourselves in our warm and welcoming environment balancing a high quality academic program with the teachings of strong Christian morals and values. Our Catholic identity will permeate each subject and daily activity. Our goal is to prepare our students to lead lives of service while embracing the love of God and neighbor. We work to develop a strong sense of self-worth in each of our students enabling them to reach their full spiritual, intellectual and emotional potential.
Jesus is the reason for this school. He is the unseen but ever present teacher. He is the model of our faculty and the inspiration of our students.
We’re back! St. Raphael School will open on September 2nd. Looking back to last year St. Raphael School opened on September 4th with a beautiful Mass concelebrated by Fr. Bill, Msgr. Gatto, Fr. Carlos, and Fr. Grant. The Nursery School was well represented with lots of young families beginning the school year in prayer. In his homily, Fr. Bill conversed with the “founding” second graders and welcomed the new members of the class. As the kindergarten class lined the sanctuary, Fr. Bill reminded us that they are “not the Church of tomorrow but the Church of today!” He said their presence was the homily! The 1st graders (“founding members” and new additions) also marked the start of the year with a special welcome from Fr. Bill.
When Mass ended the families toured the building, visited classes, met teachers, and then moved to the lawn for festivities. Oh Susannah performed as children ran, played, sang and danced. Carmen’s Italian Ice was served as we marked the start of our new school year. Fr. Bill’s dog, “Gus,” the newest addition to our parish family, was a hit with the many little ones as they enjoyed a perfect day. Happy faces were everywhere and as children left they giggled that they couldn’t wait to come back to school the next day!
May God bless all our children, their families, the teachers, and those who make our school possible! Thank you for your support as we work to spread the Good News here at St. Raphael School!
